Lei Portugal Calloway, Peer Team Lead at ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp’s Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) in ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp County, CA, has been invited to contribute as a paid subject matter expert towards the creation of the 2024 .

Outside of her leadership role at OC AOT, Lei became a California Certified PSS in September 2022. Shortly after her certification, Lei was tasked to support over 250 California ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp peers with getting state certified. Lei also supports supervisors of certified peers with completing the required supervisor training.

As a reminder, the deadline has been extended to June 30th, 2023, and can be started by registering . Upon application approval, peers have 12 months to take and pass the certification exam. Those who do not meet the criteria for grandparenting or those who miss this deadline will be required to apply under the initial application, which includes taking the required 80-hour peer training, then taking and passing the certification exam.
