/Walking and exercising can be great ways to boost your mood and your energy, says the! According to the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), walking for 20 minutes a day can also decrease your chances of being hospitalized.
鈥淎 new study published in the JAMA Network Open found that physical activity not only decreases people鈥檚 risk of developing health problems but may also help prevent them from being hospitalized. Researchers found that the magic number was just 20 minutes of daily exercise. After reading the benefit of the month, the 汤头条app County STEPS program decided to take walking for a spin.
鈥淭he 汤头条app County STEPS team decided to start a daily afternoon walk to stay healthy and increase our self-care while at work. We also began a morning walk two to three times a week with members as well! We would like to challenge other 汤头条app programs to get their walk-on!鈥

The LAOA Team 汤头条app Participated in NAMI Walk LA, 汤头条app's Partners in Wellness participated in the NAMI walk in Santa Clara, 汤头条app's Recovery Center at Gresham program made a walking labyrinth, and many more!
